The second formula is the one that matters and almost nobody else publishes it: rollover progress is wager × (game edge ÷ 0.04), so a bet only counts in full on a 4% edge game. Shuffle's own example is a $5 dice bet at 1% edge contributing $1.25.

The range is the edge weighting, not an unstated term: Shuffle publishes the formula and the two ends are the honest consequence of it.
- The edge weighting inverts the usual advice. Playing low-edge games, normally the cheapest way to clear a rollover, makes this one take four times as much turnover.
- Every bet is capped at $10 while the rollover runs, so the $7,000 best case needs at least 700 bets and the $28,000 case at least 2,800.
- A rollover cannot be forfeited once play has started and a balance exists. Forfeiting before any play returns the raw deposit.
- Withdrawals, vaulting and tipping in the bonus currency are all frozen until the rollover clears.
