Duel review (2026): 100% RTP games, rakeback and KYC

Unlike many of the newly released crypto casinos that are just re-skins of each other, Duel feels genuinely different. It is built with original games at its core, with some having an RTP of up to 100% (yes you read that right). Instant rakeback on your wagering, fast payouts and a thriving social layer. Despite being barely a year old Duel has managed to punch far above its weight in many sectors.

Duel went live on 18 July 2025 and picked up attention fast, which is unusual in a market where most new sites arrive, copy whatever Stake is doing, and disappear. What you get here in place of a sign-up offer or a VIP tier system to climb is a set of in-house games that hand back nearly every cent they take, and rakeback that pays out the moment you earn it. That’s either refreshing or a dealbreaker depending on what you came for, so we went through the games, the payment rails, the licence and the small print to work out which.

The library splits three ways: the in-house Originals Duel is known for, several hundred third-party slots, and a live casino section. The Originals came first and are still the reason anyone is talking about the site.

Duel Originals and the 100% RTP question

The Originals section covers the usual crypto casino staples: Crash, Mines, Plinko, Dice and Keno. There’s also Beef, Duel’s own take on the chicken-crossing-the-road format, where a cow works its way across lane after lane of traffic and picks up a bigger multiplier each time it survives one. Push too far and it doesn’t survive.

Several of these titles run at 99% to 100% RTP. The figure is accurate, and it is the one most often misread. RTP is a long-run average, not a promise about your session. A 100% RTP game is not a game you win every time. On these titles the underlying maths is close to a coin flip on each round, so roughly half your rounds win and half lose, and over a very large number of rounds the money paid out approaches the money taken in. What it removes is the built-in drag. On a normal slot at 96% RTP, the house takes a slice of everything you wager and that slice compounds the longer you play. At 100% there’s effectively no slice, so your bankroll rises and falls on variance alone.

Each Original lets you set a risk level (easy, medium, hard or extreme) which shifts the shape of the payouts rather than the RTP. There’s also an auto mode where you set a stake per round, a stop-win and a stop-loss, and let it run.

Provably fair

Every Original can be independently verified. Each round combines a server seed, a client seed and a nonce, and after the fact you can check the result was fixed before you played rather than decided once you had staked. One distinction gets blurred constantly: provably fair covers Duel’s own games and nothing else. The third-party slots and live tables use standard RNG systems audited by the studios that make them, which is the normal arrangement and a different kind of assurance.

Slots and third-party games

Beyond the Originals there are hundreds of titles from the studios you’d expect: Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, NoLimit City, Play’n GO, NetEnt, and newer names like Shady Lady mixed in. The recent hits are present, so Gates of Olympus, Le Bandit and Duck Hunters all sit alongside older catalogue titles. These run at whatever RTP the provider set, usually somewhere in the mid-90s, and the 100% figure applies to the Originals only. Monarch, Duel’s founder, has said he wants to build proprietary slots in-house at higher-than-standard RTP, but nothing has shipped yet.

Live casino and game shows

The live section is stronger than the site’s size would suggest. Several blackjack, roulette, baccarat, sic bo and poker variants, mostly from Evolution and Pragmatic Play. The game shows are the highlight, including Crazy Coin Pachinko, Snakes and Ladders Live and Sweet Bonanza Candyland.

Duel pays you continuously instead of up front, through three mechanisms: rakeback on your own play, a lifetime commission on players you refer, and leaderboard contests with a $25,000 daily pool and a $500,000 monthly one. There is no welcome package, deposit match, free spins or VIP tier system, and Duel says so openly. If a fixed sign-up offer is what you’re shopping for, Duel will disappoint you.

Rakeback is the main one. Every wager on an eligible game earns it, win or lose, it’s credited instantly as you play instead of weekly or monthly, and there’s no tier to reach first: it starts on your first bet. It’s a share of the house edge, not of your stake, so a $100 wager on a game with a 4% edge produces about $4 of edge, and a 50% rate returns roughly $2. Rates vary by game, and the consequence is awkward: the 99% to 100% RTP Originals Duel is known for generate almost no edge, so they pay almost no rakeback.

That suits a regular player on higher-edge slots and tables, and it suits nobody shopping for a fixed sign-up offer. For a site that’s clearly casino-first, the sportsbook is a surprise. Coverage runs past 30 sports, with the majors well served across soccer, basketball, American football and tennis, and decent depth on volleyball, MMA and handball. Esports gets proper treatment too, covering Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League and Call of Duty alongside the simulated versions of soccer and tennis. Bet types go well beyond moneylines: totals, head-to-heads, handicaps and a reasonable spread of props are all there, and the bet builder lets you assemble multi-leg wagers from a single fixture.

Odds average around 89.9%, which is competitive without being exceptional, and they update quickly enough during live play that the bet slip doesn’t lock up on you at the wrong moment. The live tab shows in-play action across every sport at once, you can star the sports you follow to jump straight to them, and quick bet mode drops wagers in a single click.

Duel is crypto-first but not crypto-only. More than 15 coins are supported, covering the obvious ones (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, Dogecoin, TRON, BNB, Solana, XRP) and a few that are less commonly offered, including Avalanche, Toncoin and Hedera Hashgraph. Card payments are supported as well, though which methods you see depends on your country and your account, so check the cashier for what is available to you.

If you don’t hold crypto

Alongside direct card payments, Duel integrates Swapped, a third-party service that sells you coins with Google Pay, Apple Pay or a debit card, so you can fund a crypto balance without setting up an external wallet first.

Swapped is a purchase service rather than a Duel payment method. It charges its own fees and its rates are usually worse than a proper exchange, so if you’re buying crypto purely to deposit, compare it against an exchange you already have.

Withdrawal speed

Standard withdrawals typically complete in under two minutes, and there’s no approval queue to sit in, no minimum, no cap and no fee. Most of Duel’s reputation comes from this, and it is the claim that held up most consistently.

Duel doesn’t publish a manual review policy, so there’s no documented ceiling on how long a flagged withdrawal could be held. Every operator reserves the right to review a payout; Duel simply hasn’t said what that looks like. In practice the reports are of near-instant payouts.

Registration is quick and doesn’t require documents: confirm you’re over 18 and in an accepted location, and you’re in. Full KYC isn’t part of sign-up. It gets triggered by large transactions or by activity that trips risk checks, which is standard for a licensed operator with anti-money-laundering obligations. The design is pared back and works well. A navy palette, a menu bar across the top, a search field for finding a specific game, and an account dashboard that doesn’t bury anything. Nothing flashes at you.

Mobile is a browser experience and a good one. Games load quickly, menus sit within thumb reach, and there’s no meaningful feature gap against desktop. It’s a shade slower than desktop, and that’s the extent of the compromise.

Duel is operated by Immortal Snail LLC and licensed by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, through the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority. It appears on the Anjouan Gaming Register and carries a registered address in the Caribbean. Connections are secured with SSL, and the Originals carry provably fair verification.

An Anjouan licence is not equivalent to a Malta or UK Gambling Commission one. It’s a lighter-touch regime, and critically, there’s no independent adjudication body of the kind those regulators provide. If a payout is disputed or an account gets closed, your route is Duel’s own support team, and then effectively nowhere. That is a fair chunk of why our rating isn’t higher.

Two further gaps we couldn’t close: we found no confirmation that Duel offers two-factor authentication, which for a site holding crypto balances would be a notable omission, and no published maximum bet or maximum win limits. Check both in your account settings and in the terms before you commit a large balance.

The platform is also too new to have accumulated a meaningful independent review score, so there’s no Trustpilot consensus to point to yet and the mechanics are all you have to judge it on. The founder, Finnish poker player Ossi “Monarch” Ketola, is publicly attached to the brand and active in the community, which cuts both ways. Named, visible ownership is more accountability than most crypto casinos offer, but the tone is loud and personality-driven, and some players will simply bounce off it.

Live chat runs 24/7 and is genuinely informal, closer to a conversation than a ticket queue. Email is hey@duel.com, usually answered within a few hours, up to 48 for anything complicated. Support is English only, which is a real constraint if English isn’t your first language.

Duel also runs an official Discord and an official Telegram, both linked from the site. They work as support channels and as information sources, and Monarch reads them and responds to recurring problems himself, which is rare. Use the links on Duel’s own site rather than searching, since impersonation is common in this space.

VPN policy

Duel’s terms do not allow use of a VPN. Breaching geographic restrictions is standard grounds for account closure and forfeited funds across the industry.

Duel is doing something different, and in a category where almost nobody does, that counts for more than it sounds. The 100% RTP Originals are a real product decision rather than a marketing line, the rakeback lands instantly instead of being tiered and time-gated, the payouts are as fast as anyone claims, and the sportsbook is better than it has any need to be. The support team behaves like people rather than a ticket queue.

The reasons to hesitate are structural. The platform went live in July 2025, so there’s no long track record of paying out under pressure. The Anjouan licence means limited protection if something is disputed. And the rakeback maths means the games Duel is best known for are the ones that pay the least of it back, which is worth understanding before you assume you’re getting both.
